{"id":2599,"date":"2024-10-13T12:32:04","date_gmt":"2024-10-13T09:32:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.persuasion.co.il\/en\/?p=2599"},"modified":"2024-10-31T11:10:46","modified_gmt":"2024-10-31T09:10:46","slug":"what-is-the-most-efficient-fast-and-cost-effective-way-to-acquire-new-clients","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.persuasion.co.il\/en\/what-is-the-most-efficient-fast-and-cost-effective-way-to-acquire-new-clients\/","title":{"rendered":"What is the most efficient, fast, and cost-effective way to acquire new clients?"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"2599\" class=\"elementor elementor-2599\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-4d63a6ae elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"4d63a6ae\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-217aa03c\" data-id=\"217aa03c\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3415ae08 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3415ae08\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In order for people to become paying clients of yours and purchase your products or services for the first time, they need to go through three essential stages:<\/p><ol><li>They need to <strong>know<\/strong> you and be aware of your existence.<\/li><li>They need to <strong>like<\/strong> you and feel comfortable with you.<\/li><li>They need to <strong>trust<\/strong> you professionally.<\/li><\/ol><p>This international model is called <strong>Know \u2013 Like \u2013 Trust<\/strong>, and I\u2019ve been researching it for two decades.<\/p><p>The first stage \u2013 <strong>Know<\/strong> \u2013 means that you need to be \u201cin the game\u201d and visible when potential clients are searching for your products and services.<\/p><p>Even if you\u2019re the best in the world and your products are the top in the market, if people search for what you offer and don\u2019t find you\u2014then, for them, you don\u2019t exist.<\/p><p>This is why I\u2019ve been writing and advocating for years about \u201cmulti-platform distribution\u201d (publishing the same content across as many different platforms as possible) and \u201cmulti-channel marketing\u201d (being present and relevant in as many customer touchpoints as possible, including lectures, conferences, books, videos, and more).<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The second stage \u2013 <strong>Like<\/strong> \u2013 means that people need to like you on some level to buy from you.<\/p><p>People do business with people, not with ideas, companies, or organizations.<\/p><p>In the end, there\u2019s always a person behind every deal, and it\u2019s important to all of us to have good personal chemistry.<\/p><p>You can create this chemistry even without meeting in person (since your potential client hasn\u2019t bought from you yet!).<\/p><p>How? If they\u2019ve seen a video of you and liked it, heard you speak at a conference\/webinar\/podcast and connected, or read an article you wrote and felt aligned with your values and insights, it can be enough to bring them \u201cready\u201d to buy.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The third stage \u2013 <strong>Trust<\/strong> \u2013 means that your potential clients need to believe you can deliver the goods.<\/p><p>They already know about you, have connected with you personally, and now they need to trust you professionally.<\/p><p>They need to believe that you\u2019re an expert in your field, have experience, and know what you\u2019re doing.<\/p><p>The most effective method for building this professional trust is through \u201csocial proof\u201d \u2014 showing objective evidence (in various forms) that proves you are indeed the expert you claim to be.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Only after a potential client has gone through these three stages are they ready to move to stage 4 \u2013 <strong>Buy<\/strong> (or <strong>Invest<\/strong> in the case of investors), and they\u2019re prepared to pay you for the first time.<\/p><p>While these three stages \u2013 <strong>Know, Like, Trust<\/strong> \u2013 are highly effective, they take time and require a lot of effort, money, and energy over a long period to build your visibility, presence, trust, and branding in the market. But there\u2019s a way to shorten the process and reach more paying clients easily, efficiently, and cheaply!<\/p><p>That way is <strong>referrals!<\/strong><\/p><p>Let\u2019s say I, Yaniv, have been working with an accountant named Yehuda for years, and I\u2019m very satisfied with him, trust him, like him, and he delivers great results over time.<\/p><p>Now, I meet a client of mine, let\u2019s call him Avi, and Avi asks me if I know a good accountant.<\/p><p>I say to Avi, \u201cOf course, I\u2019ve been working with Yehuda for years.
